The Plough sits in the centre of West Melton village, with bus stops right outside the pub.

There is a small bar area at the front, with a similar size room at the rear and a further room off to the right. Just a couple of other guys drinking lager were present in the bar areas. Although, there were others in the room at the rear.

Just the one handpull was dispensing Welbeck Abbey Hennymoor, a blonde beer that was in surprisingly good condition, considering the lack of ale drinkers. It was also a much more unusual beer than I had been expecting.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Plough Inn

The Plough is a nice looking stone built pub that is part ivy clad.
Once inside the pub has been opened out but still retains different drinking areas, the front area runs across the width of the pub,the right side was carpeted and had comfy leather bench seating and small stools, the left side had tall tables and chairs, there was a pool table to the rear left and some more seating to the rear right, there was a seperate room off the rear right area which was up a few steps, this room was probably for diners.
There was only one real ale on the bar, this was Doom Bar which was a decent enough drink.
This is a very pleasant pub to have a drink in,it was quite busy on my Saturday dinner visit with a mixed bunch.
