Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bluebell

New-build Marston's pub / restaurant on the town's former colliery site, operating under the 'Rotisserie' sub-brand. From this, you would expect an anonymous, modern, food-led outlet with a variety of dining areas around the central counter. If so, you won't be disappointed, but there were also a fair few people in just having a drink, together with a reasonably proficient singer providing Friday night entertainment. The menu offers were reasonable, with the only annoyance being that you had to wait for table service rather than ordering from the bar (which seems rather unnecessary in this type of place). On the beer front, I found Pedigree and Hobgoblin (£3.15) available on handpump.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Bluebell Inn

The Bluebell is a large new build Marstons house.
Once inside there was a very large L shaped room, the bar was facing, there were tall tables and chairs near the bar,the right side was carpeted and had comfy bench seating, there was a large dining area to the left.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Pedigree which went down well, the other beers i noted were Hobgoblin and a seasonal beer from Wychwood.
The pub was very busy with quite a few drinkers.
This is a decent enough pub to have couple of drinks in.
