Steve C left this review about The Pig & Whistle

The Pig & Whistle is a Sam Smiths pub that was completely empty during a recent Wednesday late afternoon visit. The front of the pub is carpeted with banquette seating in the bay windows either side of the entrance. There is a fireplace in the right-hand wall and another in the left that faces a pool table. Banquettes run up the right-hand wall faced by the L-shaped bar counter, no OBB on cask. There’s a step down to the rear area where more banquettes can be found along with a dartboard. The service was very friendly and this is a tidy pub, but I’m not a fan of drinking in an empty pub where I’m not allowed to use my phone.
