Strongers . left this review about The Rumsey Wells
Rumsey Wells is an L-shaped pub with a bar counter along the left wall that faces seating and beer shelves along the front and rear walls. To the right of the entrance is some seating and there was a band set up on the right hand wall. The layout led me to believe that this is a regular live music venue. Being Adnams run I wasn’t surprised to see Ghost Ship, Mosaic and Broadside all available. However, it was disappointing to see seven unused hand pumps. Premium and craft keg was also available and the Pieminister menu is available. I found the service to be polite, but this isn’t my sort of place so I’ll walk past when next in the area.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Rumsey Wells
Attractive Adnams pub, with an unusual layout due to the differing nature of the two adjoining buildings now housing the various seating areas. Music and other events down in the 'Underbelly' cellar bar and in an upstairs room. Six beers available from seven handpumps in two banks, with a decent pint of Kristal White coming in at £3.40. Very busy (to the point of almost being overcrowded) on a Friday night, so I'll a quieter time on my next visit.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Rumsey Wells
This Adnams house is well worth a visit and is only a five min walk from the Market Sq. This L shaped pub has six to seven handpumps serving some very decent ales at reasonable prices. The pub consists of a lounge area, which had a medieval theme to it. From the lounge area the bar is facing you and further to the right was a conservatory area. I went for the Adnams Explorer and the St Austell Proper Job. Will defo call again.
