Steve of N21 left this review about The Master Mariner
Originally built in the 1950s, the pub was called the Weathervane but was renamed in 1982 to The Master Mariner to commemorate Captain Ian North who was killed along with eleven of his crew when his ship the Atlantic Conveyor was sunk during the Falklands War.
Now been renamed again to The Med and given a pink colour scheem. Currently two ales on of which one is usually London Pride.
