Moby Duck left this review about BrewDog Homerton

A corner pub now done out in a typical Brewdog style, it was very quiet on my Saturday afternoon visit, but very comfortable nonetheless. A good selection of beers and tasters were freely offered. It is what it is but I for one quite like it.

Now Brewdog and its now been changed to a more industrial style favoured by them.Smaller than most brewdogs but busy and a decent selection of beers. The smoke alarms went off as I walked through the door so was an uncomfortable visit until they got it sorted.Absolute beauty of a beer in Tropic Thunder from Brewdog.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Plough

The Plough is a corner pub situated on Homerton high street.
Once inside there is a single oblong shaped room with the bar situated on the mid right hand side, the room is bare boarded, the seating looked more like canteen tables and chairs and uncomfortable narrow bench seating.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Sambrooks Pumpkin Pale Ale which was a decent drink, the other beer was Hackney American Pale Ale.
The pub was quite busy on my Saturday afternoon visit.
This pub was ok for one drink bit not comfortable enough for a longer stay.
