Alan Winfield left this review about Tommy Flynn's

Tommy Flynn's is a small looking pub from the outside.
Once inside there is a single oblong shaped room with the bar on the right side, the room is bare boarded with the seating being wood backed bench seating and normal tables and chairs in the middle area, there was a TV showing some something which i did'nt take much notice of.
There were no real ales on the bar which was not a surprise,i had a drink of John Smiths smooth crap which was a pretty crap drink.
The pub was quite busy with older drinkers on my late Saturday afternoon visit.
This seems to be a popular pub,but it is not my sort of pub.

Rex Rattus left this review about The Wishing Well

This is still a simple single-room Irish pub. There was no real ale on, just John Smith keg in the way of bitter. I didn’t see any sign of food, or any menus when I was in on Wednesday afternoon. There are some exposed brick pillars, what looks like a modern stone fireplace at the back, and a fair bit of light coloured wood. There is some bric-a-brac on the shelving – stuff like old bottles, old weighing scales and a typewriter. Furnishings are standard banquettes and normal tables and chairs. Live music was advertised, with Gerry Carne and his hit song “Paddy” as a forthcoming attraction.

This place was full of old boys drinking away the afternoon. I didn’t feel out of place here, despite not being Irish, but it’s not likely that I would return to somewhere that doesn’t offer real ale. But that didn’t seem to be an issue for the clientele here, and good luck to them.

Steve C left this review about The Wishing Well

I'm a bit partial to Wishing Well pubs as they remind me of being dragged around pubs in my youth, but this one isn't very good. There is the usual generic draught selection and a few plasmas dotted about with the ability to show every sports channel and there is also a dartboard. I think that the problem with this place was the clientele and the depressingly crap music.

I would walk past If in the area again.
