As I didn't have the NHS Track & Trace app the barman (or perhaps more accurately the waiter now) input my details on his 'phone. It's a prominent semi-circular pub right on Queen Victoria Street, and looks much like an estate pub in the City. Inside there are only a few tall tables and chairs and stools at a ledge by the large semi-circular window. I was the only customer inside when I arrived late lunchtime, although a couple of blokes were standing outside drinking at the window ledge, and three other customers came inside after I had been there a while.
There was some raucous music playing but my pint of Tribute was in good shape (£4.90 a pint). It's a very ordinary pub, but handily placed for a pint of decent ale at the end of my long walk around the City.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Sea Horse
Traditional-looking exterior, mostly comprising a big bay window. Modernised interior, with fairly plain furniture and decor that somehow doesn't seem particularly welcoming. Always pretty full after work, so a large part of the clientele is usually to be found standing outside on the pavement. Three real ales on handpump, with Landlord, Abbot and Bombardier (£3.30) on offer during my latest brief visit.

Strongers . left this review about The Sea Horse
The Sea Horse sticks out from the edge of an office block and looks like a big bay window from the outside and the inside feels like a large bay window. There is a dartboard in the right hand corner and also two plasma screens which were showing a VH1 type music channel when I visited at around 14:00 on Wednesday last week. I found the staff to be very friendly and a menu on the bar had a list of sandwiches and burgers that were available. I plumped for a Guinness which was well served and whilst waiting for it to be poured I noted that a few standard and premium draught products were available alongside Bombareindeer (Bombardier), Landlord and Adnams Lighthouse from the three hand pumps.
This isn’t the biggest place so I imagine it getting very close around 17:00 in the week and it is a long way from being traditional, but I still liked it and would have no problem returning.
