The other pub situated in Leadenhall Market, although there is an entrance in Gracechurch Street to a basement restaurant.Owned by Greene King,it lacks charm but has some interesting features,a decent bar back and fine moulded ceiling. The tap room off the Market is open plan with small tables running down the centre of the room and drinking shelves elsewhere.Expect to drink vertically. The muzak was noisy punk, and there was an earthy atmosphere with less suits that in any other pub around this way.Lots of handpumps but a limited choice of GK IPA,Abbott and guest St Austell Tribute (drinkable).Food is from a corporate GK menu,I didn't visit the restaurant but if you can find space you can eat in the tap room.Nothing in here demands a revisit and you are better advised to take your life in your hands and attempt to cross Gracechurch Street to the 'spoons Cross Keys opposite.

Located in beautiful Leadenhall Market, I have to agree with the other reviews: this is a very sub-standard pub. There's quite an ornate (Lincrusta?) ceiling but thereafter there's literally not much. Hardly any furniture, just three modest high tables with high stools, thereafter just a few stools to a narrow ledge beneath the windows. The net result is a vertical drinking establishment which resembles a live music venue with muted music, games machines and two TVs showing sport with the sound off.
Several GK-associated ales such as IPA and London Glory, my half of Navigation's Back of the Net was fine and cost only £2.15 which is very cheap for the area.
This is a dreary pub for City types with gelled hair; The far superior Swan or Grapes are just around the corner.

Nothing really to write home about this one. This GK pub is on two levels, a basement bar and a ground floor bar with Oakham Citra on as a guest. Prepare to pay through the nose here. My advice is to run across the road to Spoons.
