Concrete roof, exposed ducting, neon signs, chicken wings and table football.
So damn loud.
I really should have tried the Tankovna of unfiltered Pilsner Urquell but I had failed to notice it. Instead, one of the five hand pulls was a decent London Lush by the London Brewing Company.
Party destination.

We were lucky on our Friday afternoon visit as the place wasn't that busy, compared to Spoons around the corner. There was a group of guys stood around the front of the bar area, blocking access, but they were polite enough to let us through. After all the effort, it turned out that the display of handpumps were positioned at the end of the bar, on the entrance side.
A quick perusal at the beer board, so we settled on the Weird Beard Little things that Kill and Weird Beard Bat Out of Hell, both of which were excellent. This pub also serves food, along the lines of burgers and chicken wings etc, similar to all their other outlets. I also spotted the large industrial beer tanks and a sign near the door read, Big 4 tank opened 4 days ago, fresh and unpasteurised from the Czech Republic Tankovna, which must be their popular in house lager.

A very large industrial feel to the interior,with a high concrete ceiling,exposed ducting and three tanks of unpasteurised Pilsner Urquell above the front door with pipes leading to a copper vessel above the bar leading to dispense.This brought back memories of tanked beer of the 70's,as I assume a tanker must top up the vessels. We were not brave enough ( or foolish enough !) to sample this quirky feature.
The interior is noisy,and the neon signs dotted about create a bar atmosphere which the loud music amplifies,while the furniture is often metal and a bit chic.It's popular with a young drinking audience,and food is available from a rear open kitchen.
The bar is long and supports a lot of keg,but the short side by a front entrance does support 6 handpumps,and given it's GBG 2018 listed that drew the Friday afterwork visit.
One pump was unclipped leaving Sambrooks Pale (the daily cheap pint),Wandle,Thornbridge Lord Marples,Harbour Daymer Extra Pale and Siren Liquid Mistress (only fair condition,£4.50) as the ale choice.The crew sampled widely but felt that condition was below GBG standards,and given the seething nature of the interior we sloped off to the Craft Beer Co. not far away for more pleasing pints and vibe.
