Young's pub with a lovely interior and one I hadn't been to for over 14 years until last weekend. Whilst it certainly has a nice, traditional interior (well described by others), I'm not a particular fans of Young's pubs and as such had not been here for a while.
On our Saturday morning visit, it was fairly quiet. In fairness, the cask ale range was better than I expected. Young's London Original & Special & St Austell Proper Job are the regular beers. In addition, they also had Young's Winter Warmer & Southwark LPA. I had each of the last two and they were in good condition.

Lovely back street heritage pub with central bar counter in dark wood with foot rails and hooks. The bar incorporates pillars with capitals in the form of leaves or feathers. Walls are adorned with pictures, mostly of ancient pin-ups. There are five hand pumps with three Young's beers plus a guest from By The Horns. I went for Young's Winter Warmer 5% (NBSS 3.5) at £6/pint. This pub opens at 11am, which makes it a handy stop before a midday train.

Favourite London Pub. Saturday is the time to come, as its very quiet. Mid week, I've rarely been able to get a seat.
Wonderful interior - island bar with snob screens, lots of wood. Youngs speacial in good condition.
