This is effectively a pub themed restaurant. At least it is on a Sunday afternoon when all but 3 tables were reserved more than once for diners. Owned by Robinsons there were two of their ales on the bar. Sadly the Big Sur turned out to be Big Sludge, so I had a decent enough pint of Cumbria Way. Apparently they have a quiz one night during the week, so maybe it is a bit more pubby in midweek.
