Thwaite's pub on the main road from Rochdale towards Bury. The interior is split over a couple of levels. Entering from the street, you arrive into the higher area. Handpumps are in the lower area, but the bar spreads over both levels. Wainwright (n... [more>] |

This is effectively a pub themed restaurant. At least it is on a Sunday afternoon when all but 3 tables were reserved more than once for diners. Owned by Robinsons there were two of their ales on the bar. Sadly the Big Sur turned out to be Big Sludge... [more>] |
