Brainy Pool left this review about The Sun Hotel
pretty bland pub that seems to be aimed at local Irish/Celtic football supporters. A large room with jukebox and pool table. Nothing to get the pulses racing and the only real ale was Wainwrights on this occasion. Not particularly busy on a Saturday afternoon.

Nice enough pub. 5 real ales still on. Lots of Celtic FC memorabilia in the corner where the pool table is.

Still a well run Thwaites house, serving up 5 ales and one cider. Red Squirrel, Isle of Arran and Wainwright were the order of the day, both in good nick.
