you would never ever know about this pub unless you're a local or a real ale pub ticker. it's hidden away on a residential street to nowhere. inside it's traditional other than the almost surreal amount of TV screens and has 4 hand pumps and reasonably priced at £2.70 a pint. very very busy with Preston fans on a Saturday afternoon. another that's worth the walk out of Preston but do keep a map on you.

The Princess Alice is now under new management and is open from 7.00PM seven days a week with a late licence friday and Saturday the opening time are up for change as soon as the new Landlady as Sky Installed. Its a friendly pub and is slowly trying to recover for the last tennents running the pub down. It has two cask ales on most days and the beer is cheap compared to the rest in the area. I will keep going in to see if it becomes the pub it once was

This pub is "run" by a couple from the Liverpool area but they are hardly ever there. At present you will struggle to find it open Tues, Weds and Thurs, apathy rules. The Landlord does karoke on Friday night, and on Saturday's there is usually a singer on (or the Landlord again). The pub does not open during the day, but is usually very busy on Saturday night from 22.00 until 00.30, when an act is playing and it is grab a granny time. The place could be a lot better and is currently going through an internal redecoration process which has been on going now for 2 months!
