Requested be closed with reason - Other: I can confirm that the old entrance to the Dickens bar is in disrepair and the guy at the hotel entrance said that the bar was no more.

Ale has gone. But you can eat the nice tucker from Bhel Puri in here.

Real ale now on sale. Youngs Bitter. Not that great though...

Ancient hotel's bar (Dickens Bar) which is rather like a an Ibis bar, with a telly showing whatever happens to be on BBC1. No real ale but the courtyard ambience is nice. If Nicholsons could get their hands on this place, they'd make a mint.
