No longer a question about the ale dispense - there isn't any. Craft keg of the fairly mainstream variety at hefty prices. The interior's nice but is generally stuffed full of trust fund poseurs and expense account eaters.
June 2017
New bar, located in the old Barclays Bank. Quirky, rustic potting shed theme - plenty of distressed wood, floral ironwork, caged lighting, various agricultural bric-a-brac etc. The interior has been cleverly seperated into discrete sections each with their own character, so there's a fairly cosy and intimate feel. Two ales on (at rear of bar) though as yet unsure as to whether served under blanket Co2, as they need 'gas' to work. Large array of bottled and canned beers available, illustrated in books on each of the tables with ambitious prices.
