A large, lively high street pub currently run by GK. The ground floors rooms are knocked through to form a single large bar area with various zones two levels. There is a pool table, several gaming machines and TV screens. They run poker, karaoke, quiz and party nights for their locals and visitors, while the barman, an Ian Anderson look-alike, was friendly and welcoming. Background music wasn't too loud, but the food was bland plastic. Two ales on, GK IPA and Tribute, reasonably well kept but not the best. One of Aldershot's more tolerable pubs.

A large pub very much in the style of a Wetherspoons with prices to match, much of the extensive floorspace is set out for food purposes, there are several screens showing sport, Tennis at the time of my visit, there is also a pool table. On the bar I spotted three hand pulls with only two on, disappointingly for me these were Doom Bar and Greene King IPA , there were plenty of Lagers available along with Cider and Guinness.
These types of pubs don't do a lot for me but I guess they serve a purpose,I don't expect to return anywhen soon .
