Graham Coombs left this review about Black Iris Brewery Bottleshop & Taproom

A nicely-assembled outdoor collection of tables and booths in front of the brewing unit- a sort of deluxe car port area. There were two handpumps and a few keg taps on offer, all their own. Pleasant enough on a sunny evening but I wouldn't go if the weather is poor.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Black Iris Brewery Bottleshop & Taproom

Located adjacent to the tram stop on Shipstone Street which was very handy. The set up here was a small bar area and a patio garden with bench seating, some of which was under cover. Also lots of shrubs and small trees planted in large timber beer barrels, quite an oasis. The barmaid was welcoming and chatty and gave us lots of info about the brewery behind us and she was also very knowledgeable about all their beers, which included some samples of their sour beers.
Three handpumps with two on, serving Black Iris Snake Eyes and Loved and Lost, plus a range of six craft beers. The brewery have put a lot of effort into the toilet facilities here with tiled and wallpapered walls, plus they were spotlessly clean.
