A smart bar on the main drag through Atherton that really thinks it is something special. Two long tables with long benches in the middle of the room and a selection of other dining tables around the place. As I entered and headed to the bar I was stopped by some young, female jobsworth, who told me to sit at one of the long tables and she'd be along shortly. She promptly then left through the front door. I got up and went to the bar where I was served by a pleasant barmaid with no problem whatsoever. No real ale of course, so I ended up with Estrella. It's a nice enough place but a couple of the staff are well up their own arses.
