Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Plau
The former Plough is now a modern bar / restaurant 'gin & beer house' concept owned by the local Meat & Drink mini-chain, with a pleasingly restored (if slightly cramped) semi-traditional interior on several levels. The bar counter is located up a few step in the centre, with the four handpumps offering Kirkstall Pale Ale, Darcy's Beer from Blackjack, Acorn's Gorlovka Imperial Stout and an IPA from a brewery I forgot to note.

Old Boots left this review about Plau
More a restaurant with beer but a pleasant enough place for a drink if a little small. Very elegant decor, ex church fittings by the looks of it. The counter up a short flight of steps at the back is home to four pulls. On this visit they were all pale beers and around 4% except for one at 6%, relatively decently kept but maybe not GBG standard. Staff seemed a little out of their comfort zone as well. Limited seating due to the size but it includes some bench seats. There’s a dining room at the rear beyond the counter and allegedly a cellar bar but I didn't see it or the gents for that matter.
