A modern brewery tap with a two roomed interior in quite a large space, the large plate glass window bring in a lot of natural light to the first section ,while the far side houses the shiny brewing kit for Remedy ales. The bar is along a rear wall and has 6 handpumps dispensing on my trip Greenfield Black Five,Squark Oat Pale Ale,Torrside Yellow Peak,Mighty Medicine Go Bananas,Cheshire Engine Vein and a very decent Remedy Oatmeal Stout. There were also some craft keg options.
I would certainly revisit and stay longer next time given the interesting real ale options with a lot of Locale to temp a beer tourist like myself.

A pretty decent brewery pub. Split into two areas by a central wall the bar is straight ahead as you enter and to the left is the brewing kit. 6 handpumps with the beers on today called Black Five, Engine Vein, Oat Pale, Oatmeal Stout and Yellow Fever on today. Remedy beers plus guest breweries were on today but I forgot to note which was which as the bar became clogged with PuG crawlers on their merry Stockport crawl. I did note beers from Squawk and Torrside though. A list of beers is on a blackboard above the brewing kit to the left. The decor is fairly industrial with ventilation ducts and exposed piping. A good pub.

Pretty busy on my Friday, early evening visit. Two rooms separated by a dividing wall. The left hand room has the brewery behind a glass wall to allow viewing of the brewer in action. Both rooms have wooden panelling with bare brick above, giving a modern, but stylish interior. The bar is straight ahead of you as you enter and has 6 handpumps, all of which were in action, including two of their own beers. I had a pint of their Sauvin Blanc which was in good nick. The barmaid seemed to have lost her personality somewhere along the way, but apart from that I really liked this pub.

A modern bar and brewery near the market. Craft beers are promoted and there are six hand pumps, of which five had beers available at the time of my Saturday noontime visit. It was fairly quiet, with no music playing, but I imagine this changes as the evening progresses, or regresses, according to opinion. I enjoyed my half of the Williams Brothers' March of the Penguins. If that was a regular beer I'd make a point of coming back. I might come back anyway.

A large cafe bar type place in a modern brick box opposite the Market Halls. It's split into almost two rooms with the counter at the back. Both sides are decorated in modern cafe bar style with industrial fittings, clear light bulbs with coiled elements, heavy conduiting and Admiralty pattern cable tray. The walls are a mix of panelling below and exposed brick above, the windows are big and clear. The furniture is an eclectic mix with some tables being made from offcuts and old doors. It's actually better designed than it sounds, the beer is fine with two groups of three pulls giving a choice of local small breweries ales.
