Alan Winfield left this review about Three Horseshoes

The Three Horseshoes is just down from the Sun Inn.
Once inside this is a basic pub,the bar faced on entry, there was a drinking area around the bar, there was another room which was opened out to the right, this was a really basic room with wooden box like seating around the edge, there was a TV in this room showing BBC football score updates, there was a seperate lounge to the left which had normal tables and chairs, and a seperate pool room to the rear.
The pub is an ex Kimberley tied house, there were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Kimberley dark which was a very nice drink, the keg bitter was Worthington Cream crap.
The pub was very busy with a boisterous atmosphere.
I was happy enough having a drink here, but this is not the sort of pub to take your mother to.
