The Lord Nelson was a 60s built pub that was located on the rough crabtree farm estate.
Once inside the pub had a largish bar that was fairly basic and a lounge which i hav'nt been in,the pub was an Home Ales tied house and there were two real ales on the bar with the Home bitter being a nice drink the other beer was Home mild.
I have only been in this pub a couple of times and it had a very rough edge to it on both occasions.
The pub closed down after a very notorious incident and it has now been pulled down and new housing built on its site.
Yet another North Nottingham pub to bite the dust.
