An extremely friendly pub. Had lots of cricket memorabilia stuff dotted around inside. Decent drinks and with a visit.

Will Larter left this review about Friendship Inn

A traditional street corner Robinsons local, with wood panelling and a collection of sporting prints and trophies, including cartoons of Ian Botham and Denis Lillee. A plaque on one wall records a refurbishment in 1954, but it looks like more recent work than that must have been done. To the right on entering, a wall and door have been removed leaving only the glass panel above head height to denote what must once have been a separate room.

On the bar for our recent visit were three Robinsons beers: Dizzy Blonde, Hatters Mild and Unicorn Bitter. I wish Robinsons beers were more distinguished, because their pubs on the whole are good, traditional ale houses which deserve better beer.

Alan Winfield left this review about Friendship Inn

The Friendship is a nice looking stone built corner pub that is in the back streets just off the town centre.
Once inside i went in a smartish room that was quite comfortable, this pub is a Robinsons tied house and there were two real ales on here i had a drink of Robinsons bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Hatters mild.
This was a proper old pub and the sort of pub i like going in.
