Alan Winfield left this review about The Box Office

When i first visited this pub it was called the Litten Tree.
The Litten Tree was converted from an old cinema.
Once inside there was one large oblong shaped room which ran to the rear, the bar ran down the right side, the seating was a mix of normal tables and chairs and a few tall tables.
On the few occasions that i went in this pub there were usually a couple of real ales on the bar,on my first visit here i had a drink of Hall& Woodhouse best bitter which was a decent drink, the other beers were Pedigree and a house bitter called Litten bitter.
The Litten Tree was a smart enough pub but not one to go out of your way to do.

When the Litten Tree closed down it reopened as the Box Office, this was a very short lived venture,i think it only lasted 6 months before it started to open only in the evenings.
The Box Office has been closed for the last year and is now up for let.
