Thuck Phat left this review about King William IV

This is an excellent boozer with a wide, sensible range of well kept real ales. The building is traditonal Victorian with the pub being split into two rooms, one bar and television room and the other a functional bare boarded drinking area. Seven real ales were offered encompassing a range of strength and styles and included a number from local breweries. Of special note were the Kelham Island Pale Rider, Oakham Bishops Farewell and Thornby Jaipur IPA. The only criticism is that the seats are basic, wooden uncomfortable affairs which don't encourage staying sat for too long in order to get stuck into the excellent ale. That aside this is cracking boozer which is well worth a visit.
