Great real ale pub since it's re-invention after years as a tied house. Visited on the 28th december and was very satisfied with my 4 pints, including Brains, Tiger and 2 micro brews that I can't remember the name of. As always, the pub was packed and if it hadn't been for friends arriving earlier than me, I would have struggled for a seat. This is about the Crown's only bad point, the locals use it and keep it busy. Great pork pie and cobs on the bar, nice clean toilets and no banging music. Loads of outside seating at the rear, including a beautifully built smoking hut, complete with red light heaters and wooden seating. Nice big car park too, that the pub sometimes puts a marquee on when they have a beer festival or other event. Long may the Crown continue in this vien.

Along with the nearby Victoria Hotel, this is one of Beeston's best real ale pubs. I think a bit more could be done to spruce the place up a bit though.

A pub I end up in on a Friday night. Very friendly and a very good choice of real ales.

The Crown Inn used to be a Kimberley tied house.
The Crown looks quite nice from the outside and is very close to the church.
This pub is now run by Everards brewery but stocks up to 8 micro brewery beers as well.Once inside here there are a few different rooms the main room is longish and an iregular shape there is also a smaller room with a bar and a snug.
There are about 10 real ales on the bar with two regular beers from Leatherbritches Brewery we had one of these and it was very nice there are also a couple of Everards beers on with Tiger bitter permanent, the other pumps have different micro beers on each week.
We always come in here when in Beeston and always stay longer than planned.

This is a really nice pub and well worth a visit.

This is a charming pub deserving its entry in the 2011 Good Beer Guide, and has won the local CAMRA pub of the year award. It is multiroomed, and they are interesting to wander round. A large outside drinking area too. Friendly staff knowledgable about the 14 ales on offer make it rightly called a real ale emporium.

Bar snacks, pork pies, sausage roll, pasties and scotch egg type of fayre along with rolls in the way of food. There is a confessional snug at the side of the main front bar.

Enjoyed 3 beers from Leatherbritches here, part of a series I would think and at a reasonable £2 a pint. Cad, Bounder and Scoundrel. Also had the Blue Monkey 100 Red Baboons out to celebrate Nottingham Drinkers 100 editions.

Well worth the trip out from Nottingham on bus 13 and 14 and not far from Beeston bus station.
