Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Lock Inn

This may be a canal-side pub, but the atmosphere is more of a village boozer. Quite a plain-looking but traditional bar with a tiled at the front, plus a lounge at the back that was in darkness on my visit. A word of caution; I've never seen a patio beer garden (to one side in this case) so close to a lock, so don't trip up near the fence! With two of the five handpumps in use, I found Wainwright Gold and Banks's Mild (£3.40) being poured.

Right besides Wolverley Lock, this canalside pubs is a traditional boozer and tied to Marstons. The lockside terrace is under partial cover , very popular in good weather and a great place for gongoozlers. The pub has two rooms,a tap room to the right with a quarry tiled floor ,benches and traditional furniture, while there is a back lounge,a quieter spot.
First class banter from the lively barmaid, the ale range of my visit was Banks's Amber,Mild and Sunbeam (NBSS 3.5) together with Ringwood Boondoggle .Food is served but doesn't dominate,I enjoyed a swift pint while working through the lock.

Popular canalside pub situated right on the Wolverley lock. good outdoor seating right by the lock but as it was a cold December day we headed into the cosy bar with a nice log burner roaring away. Friendly service and plenty locals in. 4 beers on - Banks Mild & Amber, Hobgoblin and Wainwrights. I went for the latter and it was fine. Great pub and well worth a visit.

Canalside pub - Marstons, with Banks, Ringwood and Wainwright availble. Multilpe rooms - with a tiled bar area and a wonderful wood burning stove in the corner.... the highlight of the visit was the baguettes - cheap and delicious.

A large car park is situated on the far side of the canal bridge. The pub is plain and uncomplicated. A great place to show your kids how a lock works but dont give them a swimming lesson at the same time.
