Nice to see a separate bar area with a decent pub feel to it. Pool table and live sport. The lounge is more food led. Banks's Amber and Wainwrights on offer. I went for the latter which was decent. Happy to have called in.

Popular side-street pub just on the far (eastern) side of the railway line. Attractive L-shaped public bar on one side of the central servery, and a smaller and elongated lounge to the rear, with both parts given a good semi-traditional refurbishmen... [more>]
