Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Red Lion Inn

Old inn on what was once the main Stourbridge Road a short walk out from the town centre. Surprisingly, perhaps, the Whine Bar to the left of the entrance (with a small raised area beyond) is more modern in appearance than the busier lounge / dining areas to the right. Also has some outside seating, with a small patio to one side and a compact beer garden to the other. The local Enville Ale (£3.40), Old Golden Hen and Abbot were available from the various handpumps on both counters.

Nice oldie world pub good beer bar staff ok its just a shame that the manager could not be bothered to say hello when he was standing in the bar or for that matter even acknowledge his customers were even there a course in the art of smiling would be helpful too,

Soup Dragon left this review about Red Lion Inn

A white rendered detached pub with central entrance and some black paintwork. It has a patio area and a beer garden. It looks like a former Georgian farmhouse, with three front facing gables.

The interior has a couple of rooms. The bar is to the left, but i didn't get to see that room. To the right is the lounge, which is a straight room that has settles and a fireplace. It is in white with some undressed brick and wall beams, as well as a beam ceiling. There are some rifles mounted on the walls, as well as brasses, a model ship, a deer's head and clay pipes all dotted about along with old photos and pictures on the walls. All in all, it is fun. I didn't see a TV and there was no music at my visit. The service was fine and it was busy with locals, who were very friendly and engaged us in chat.

Beer; usual tap stuff with Abbot Ale, Banks's MILD, Bass and a great Enville Ale on handpull

A great traditional pub, with good beer, friendly locals, interesting ephemera and is a must visit if in Wombourne.

Ale Monster left this review about Red Lion Inn

A brilliant traditional two room local’s pub owned by Punch Taverns. Inside the front entrance are two doors leading to the public bar on the left and the lounge on the right, the public bar has a small bar counter, a large brick fireplace with a log burning stove, small round tables and two TV’s. The lounge is of a similar size with a small bar counter, small inglenook fireplace and rectangular tables set for dining. The decorations in the lounge are extremely interesting, nailed to the overhead beams are three rifles (two bolt action with small magazines and one single action, all dating from around the end of the First World War) there is a mounted deer’s head and a pheasant with antique animal traps, old photos and a display cabinet containing various clay pipes on the walls. If you just fancy a quiet drink, then there is a third small area at the back of the public bar which is up half a dozen steps, this has a door leading out onto a partially covered patio area on the left hand side of the building.

Regular ales are Banks’s Mild, Green King Abbot Ale and Draught Bass Premium Ale with a single changing guest from Punch Taverns national portfolio which on my last visit was Hook Norton Old Hooky. All were very well kept in my opinion.

This is a great traditional local’s pub with an abundance of character that puts most “modernized” pubs to shame. There is a modest menu of traditional English dishes but this is really a pub for drinking and socialising. Note that the pub is on a small road which runs parallel with the duel carriage way that passes Wombourne. I think the only reason this place is not in the current Good Beer Guide is because the local CAMRA branch (Dudley & South Staffs) is simply spoilt for choice when deciding on candidates.
