Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Red Lion Inn

Old inn on what was once the main Stourbridge Road a short walk out from the town centre. Surprisingly, perhaps, the Whine Bar to the left of the entrance (with a small raised area beyond) is more modern in appearance than the busier lounge / dining areas to the right. Also has some outside seating, with a small patio to one side and a compact beer garden to the other. The local Enville Ale (£3.40), Old Golden Hen and Abbot were available from the various handpumps on both counters.

Nice oldie world pub good beer bar staff ok its just a shame that the manager could not be bothered to say hello when he was standing in the bar or for that matter even acknowledge his customers were even there a course in the art of smiling would be helpful too,

Soup Dragon left this review about Red Lion Inn

A white rendered detached pub with central entrance and some black paintwork. It has a patio area and a beer garden. It looks like a former Georgian farmhouse, with three front facing gables.

The interior has a couple of rooms. The bar is to the left, but i didn't get to see that room. To the right is the lounge, which is a straight room that has settles and a fireplace. It is in white with some undressed brick and wall beams, as well as a beam ceiling. There are some rifles mounted on the walls, as well as brasses, a model ship, a deer's head and clay pipes all dotted about along with old photos and pictures on the walls. All in all, it is fun. I didn't see a TV and there was no music at my visit. The service was fine and it was busy with locals, who were very friendly and engaged us in chat.

Beer; usual tap stuff with Abbot Ale, Banks's MILD, Bass and a great Enville Ale on handpull

A great traditional pub, with good beer, friendly locals, interesting ephemera and is a must visit if in Wombourne.
