Good news for cider lovers - 2 real ciders being served at the moment as well as 6 real ales (including at least one porter or stout). In addition to Gill Smith's information above-average food is available.

Called into this 2016 Good Beer Guide pub on a CAMRA coach trip, and found a friendly community pub with a good selection of ales. It is a venture between Raw Pub Co and Enterprise Inns, and the range is spread between 2 bars. A notice board lists beers available, and they also have a good bottled selection. Cask ales to choose from were 3 Raw brewery, North Yorkshire, Neepsend and Great Heck. They hold beer festivals, and live music is featured.

went to the Butchers Arms today (17thJuly) for lunch. The pub was very clean, hospitable reception at the bar and a superb Carvery lunch. I heartily recomend this pub. We will be returning in the not too distant future.
