The kings Arms is a decent looking pub that is situated on a busy road.
Once inside the bar faces in an Oblong shaped room, the room is carpeted and has comfy bench seating and chairs, there is another room to the rear which is slightly opened out to the main room, the TVs were showing sky sports.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Dukeries Best Bitter, which went down well, the other beer was Grafton Blonde.
I thought this was a decent pub to have a drink in.

Will Larter left this review about Kings Arms

A village local on the busy main road from Retford to Gainsborough. We called in for a swift half on our bike ride from Sheffield, and though the building is pleasant enough, the interior is dominated by the sounds of several gaming machines and two TV sets which, although showing the same programmes, came from different feeds with a one or two second time difference. This made for an aurally disruptive experience, which wouldn't have been a problem if there'd been some nice beer to compensate. Unfortunately what we got was some very cold and fairly tired leftovers from the weekend (it was Monday afternoon). There are four hand pumps, with Greene King Ale Fresco on one and two Pheasantry beers on others, the final pump being vacant. My Pheasantry Best Bitter belied its name, being in far from good condition and with some distinctly off notes to it. Not undrinkably poor, and perhaps on Saturday it had been a fine beer, but it was definitely past its peak. If I lived in this village I guess I would get used to knowing which days of the week I could expect to find the beer in decent condition, but this is not a pub to make a special trip to drink in.
