Alan Winfield left this review about Three Wheatsheaves

The Three Wheatsheafs use to be a Shipstones tied house.
This pub has been altered over the years but still retains an olde worlde atmosphere to it.
Once inside here there are two drinking areas at the front the right one is carpeted the other not the bar is on the right and there is another small area facing this, there are more drinking areas at the back of the pub and there are also a few steps up to another small room.
There were three real ales on here i had a drink of Theakstons XB which was ok but nothing special the other beers were Theakston Best and Bombadier.
There is also a decent garden to the right of the pub,i think this is a really nice pub which could be improved with some local beers.

Sam Bucknall left this review about Three Wheatsheaves

The new landlord at the three wheatsheaves is rude and insulting to his customers.

We were having a relaxed drink in a small group. A few of us had finished our drinks and were sat chatting to the others who still had drinks on the go. The lights in our area were switched off and he started shouting at us from behind the bar "heating and lights are off squatters, time to go". Avoid this place like the plague!
