The Limekiln is a large modern pub that was built by Banks's brewery in late 1991,the pub is situated to the north of Bulwell town centre.
Once inside the pub was very smart and comfortable with carpets and comfortable bench seating,the room i had a drink in had a few different drinking areas,there may have been other rooms but i did'nt look.
This pub was a Banks's tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Banks's bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Banks's mild.
The pub was doing food but drinkers were made just as welcome.
I went in this pub a few months after it opened, i hope the pub has'nt gone downhill like a lot of pubs in North Nottingham have over the years.
