Alan Winfield left this review about Clifton Bridge Inn

The Clifton Bridge Inn was a typical looking estate pub that was built to serve the small Silverdale estate which was next to the very large Clifton Estate.
The pub was an Home Ales tied house with the usual two roomed layout of bar and lounge, there were two real ales on the bar, with both the Home Bitter and Home Mild being nice drinks.
This was not the easiest pub to get to and you need not bother anymore as it has been pulled down, which is a great shame as the Clifton area of South Nottingham which was always short on pubs is now even shorter on pubs.

This pub is closed and boarded-up - has been since 2010 and looks in a sorry state now.
