UPDATE - The Deuchars IPA still isn't on and the Chestnut MILD has gone as well - now basic keg drinks
********************************************************************************************
A detached typical 1960s undressed brick estate pub, which looks like a big house with extensions. Until recently it was 'The Windsor', but has just reverted back to its original name. It has a beer garden and patio area.

The interior is a large open plan Lshaped room around the serving bar. At one end there is a games area with pool table and dart board and bar footy game. A second pool table is at the other end which sits on a dance floor next to a DJ/Karaoke area. There were a couple of TVs, one had a music channel on, the other, Eastenders. There is a large screen pull down screen as well. I think the pub did food, but didn't make a note of it. There is quite a bit Scottish & Newcastle beer memorabilia on the walls. The decor is a mix, as per the usual these days; dark red, grey, terracotta, with some wood panel, a cream ceiling and a mixed wood and carpet floor. The service was OK, but the place seemed a little soulless, as i was the only one in at the time.

Beer; taps stuff with a decent Chestnut MILD. The only handpull, with Deuchars IPA on it, was not on.

A basic beer choice, but it had all the pub games. For me, and my tastes, it is a 'pop in for one' on account that Chestnut MILD is a little rare, but no more than that.
