Alan Winfield left this review about The Dog & Gun

The Dog and Gun is situated to the south of Whetstone on the busy lutterworth road, the pub can also be accessed from the newish estate near the co op.
Once inside there are two rooms we went in a smartish room at the front ths was carpeted and was quite comfortable and cosy, there is another room to the rear of the pub.
This pub is an Everards tied house and there were four real ales on the bar i had a drink of Everards Beacon bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Everards Tiger bitter, Original and the low gravity Southgate bitter.
We thought this was quite a nice pub to have a few drinks in.
