Title: Peak District by public transport 2
Creator: Will Larter

Description:
Starting from Sheffield, catch the 65 bus to Stoney Middleton for the Moon Inn. (You could also start from Chesterfield on the 66 bus - they run alternately but it's the same route for both along this pub crawl.) It's a walk of about a mile across the fields to Eyam and the Miners Arms. The next bus (they run hourly) takes you to Foolow and the Bull's Head, followed by a walk to Great Hucklow for the Queen Anne. Or, walk to Foolow and get the bus to Great Hucklow. Take the next bus towards Tideswell but get off at the Anchor cross-roads if it's during opening hours (the Anchor pub shuts between 3 and 6). Walk half a mile down the lane to the George Hotel. Take the next bus to Buxton, if time allows, with time there for a quick visit to the Kings Head before getting the next bus back to Tideswell for the Horse and Jockey. Otherwise go straight from the George to the Horse & Jockey. Catch the 173 bus to Bradwell, visiting the White Hart (up a steep hill), the Olde Bowling Green (up another steep hill) and the Samuel Fox. There are buses running past the latter which will take you to the Travellers Rest at the end of the road, but it is only a 15 minute walk. From the Travellers Rest walk to the station at Hope (allow 15 minutes) or wait for the 272 bus to Sheffield.
