Marlpool Alehouse, Marlpool, Heanor

The Marpool Ale House is a micro pub that is almost next door to the Queens Head. Once inside there is a very small room to the front with the bar facing,the is a pew seat facing the bar and about three stools and one small table,there is a separate room to the rear which is slightly bigger and too full to go in on my Friday afternoon visit. There was a good choice of real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Marpool Ratty Scatty which was a very nice drink,the other Marpool beers were Otters Pocket and Blind Boris,i noted two guest beers which were Aurora Light Show and Wilson Potter Ruby Red. The pub was a bit too busy to get a proper impression of it. Pub visited 4/11/2016
