Broadway, Nottingham

The cinema is a fantastic building but the café bar is a very ordinary oblong box devoid of features, unless you count some polystyrene clouds suspended from the ceiling. There are three hand pumps on the bar, and a number of keg fonts with contents listed on a small blackboard. Two of the pumps were in action, with a prominently-positioned Camra discount notice propped against the third, for which a round of applause is awarded. (The display rather than the discount.) Unfortunately the two beers were both pale and rather bland, and given the totally unpublike setting and atmosphere, I can't think of any reason why I might want to come here again.
