ReviewThis is a great little pub with a friendly welcome and atmosphere. Great beer garden, jukebox and games room with pool table. This pub is getting evermore popular as word is spreading of the regular open mic evenings on thursdays and live music on various saturday nights and great atmoshere. This is a fantastic little pub and is well worth a visit if you are in the area.

ReviewJust like the reviewer below I have been visiting the Pigot for years without realising this pub even existed. I think the fact that it is tucked away behind the Pigot has probably caused it to suffer. However - what a find!
Under new management who made us feel very welcome, it has had a recent - very tasteful - facelift. Ales on on my visit were Enville, Enville Ginger ang Wye Valley Butty Bach. All were in tip top condition. My mates and I were even invited to have a crafty peep at the cellar and I have to say it's the cleanest, most orderly cellar I have ever been in.
Beautifully kept gardens at the back which seem to go on forever - this will be great for the kids if we ever get a summer! Live acoustic music too on our visit, which was a Thursday, I believe it also happens on a Saturday night.
If ever you're in the Pattingham area you MUST visit this place, it really is the proverbial hidden gem.

ReviewThis is a good village local dating from around 1830 which is owned by Enterprise Inns. The interior is traditional with two small rooms, a public bar and a games room that have low beams. The entrance from the street leads into the public bar which has a small L shaped bar counter straight ahead, a large coal fire place on the right and a pull down projector screen which is mainly used for sporting events at the back of the room. There is a signed Wolves FC shirt on the back right hand wall and a couple of old paintings. The games room is on the left hand side of the building and is entered via a single step up from the front left hand corner of the bar room. Here there is just enough room for a central pool table and fitted bench seats along two walls with a small coal fire place on the back wall (the pool players must be forever knocking over peoples pints with the back of their cues!). Behind the bar counter is a door that leads out to a patio and long beer garden.
Regular ale is Olde Swan Original (Ma Pardoe’s, Netherton) with a single guest ale also from the Olde Swan brewery which on my last visit was Bumble Hole Bitter. I could not believe my luck when I saw both of these on the bar! The landlord said that he has had a real struggle with Enterprise but they have stopped bothering him as the beer sells well and he makes a decent profit even though the Original was only £2.20 a pint!
A great traditional pub with character and good beer, what a find. I’ve been to the Pigot Arms next door for meals many times but I didn’t realise this pub was here until a friend told me about it recently! The regulars were really friendly and they all seemed to be drinking the ale which is good to see, I do not live locally but I hope to visit as often as possible.
