Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Crown Inn

Traditional-looking village pub in a terrace of old buildings, although the partly opened-out L-shaped interior has a more modern look than one might expect. Also has an extended outside seating area at the back, with several wooden benches under cover of large open gazebos. With all four handpumps in use, I found Doom Bar, Wye Valley HPA, a fine Enville Ale (well priced at £3.60 too) and Ludlow Gold being poured.

A terraced undressed brick pub that occupies a couple of 19th century buildings. There is a rear beer garden.

The interior has a couple of rooms. The decor seemed to be a mix of cream, brown and a pale green (but it could have been the light), with a beamed ceiling and a mix of carpet and red tile flooring. The main L-shaped bar room, where you enter, has the serving bar facing you and a nice brick fire place. Behind it, there is a small lounge area, which has a TV and a dart board. To the left on entering is another small room, which has a pool table. There are just a few pictures on the walls. Music was supplied by the jukebox. The service was fine and the clientele seemed to be a few locals.

Beer; usual tap stuff with Banks's MILD and bitter. On handpull there was Enville Ale (which had just gone), a very good Enville Ginger and an equally good Wye Valley Butty Bach.

I visited here on the strength of the other reviews and i was not disappointed. It is superb and is complimented by the foody Ember Inns Pigot Arms just up from it, which aims for a different clientele really. Class - more than class, a must.

This is a great little pub with a friendly welcome and atmosphere. Great beer garden, jukebox and games room with pool table. This pub is getting evermore popular as word is spreading of the regular open mic evenings on thursdays and live music on various saturday nights and great atmoshere. This is a fantastic little pub and is well worth a visit if you are in the area.
