Hope & Anchor, Leamington Spa

A white rendered corner pub, with extension and black paintwork, that looks a bit like a semi-detached house! The interior is an L-shaped room around the bar. It is a generally traditional pub, in white and beige, with tiled fireplace, chessboard floor and old local photos on the walls. There was darts and Sky TV. Service was functional, the clientele few - it was very quiet. Beer; all tap stuff other than a single handpull - this was dispensing St Austell Tinners, which was fine. This was a nice enough place, worth popping into, but could do with another real ale.
