Park Tavern, Portsmouth

An untidy corner pub with a large central bar in the less elegant part of town. There are mutliple TV screens showing sports. There is no real ale. Free wifi is available, but the staff and clientele aren't that welcoming. I can't see my wanting to return in a hurry.

The Park Tavern is a corner pub in the city centre. The pub had a few signs outside saying ale house so we thought there may be a decent choice of beers on the bar,but once inside we were dissapointed as there was only one real ale on the bar which was Tetley bitter and this beer had'nt travelled that well from Yorkshire. We had a drink in the room at the front which was ok but nothing special. We was'nt that impressed with this pub. Pub visited 17/2/1999 Photo taken 20/2/1999
