An old corner pub which for some reason has been clad internally with raw timber boards and corrugated iron, giving it the appearance and atmosphere of a newly-built air raid shelter. The rare island bar has a nice counter which hints at what might have been hidden beneath, a burger kitchen counter lurks at the back and sports TVs line the perimeter. Beerwise, there were a couple of Beavertown taps present but otherwise just boring mainstream keg stuff. I won't be back.

An untidy corner pub with a large central bar in the less elegant part of town. There are mutliple TV screens showing sports. There is no real ale. Free wifi is available, but the staff and clientele aren't that welcoming. I can't see my wanting to return in a hurry.

One U shaped bar with the only bitter being John Smiths keg. Fairly quite for a Saturday lunch time with Pompey playing at home
I guess everyone was in the Royal Standard on the opposite corner
Unrated as i never sampled the wares
