Cowbridge House Inn, Boston

An attractive barmaid and reasonable looking menu are the highlights here, as well as the proximity to the main navigable drain into Boston if boating. As we were the only customers and didn't eat, I can't comment on food quality other than to say that it is apparently popular with the golf club opposite. Much of the space is taken up with the dining room and adjoining bar. Beers on were Brains Rev. James, Old Speckled Hen and Deuchars IPA. Deeply uninspiring. Ocean Colour Scene on the stereo was worth an extra point from me but I don't think I'll be taking the chance that it's still playing again.
