George Hotel, Keswick

Fantastic 300 year old pub hotel. A really warm welcome & superb Jennings beers. Try the all, I love the Cumberland, it's well kept as are all the beers here. The food is superb & great value wether you eat in the bar or in the restaurant, portions are HUGE & great value. try the blackpudding starter or the home made fish cakes. If you really can eat, try & tackle the cow pie, you can have either half or attempt the full thing.....good luck. Accomodation is clean, quiet & comfy. This pub has a real atmosphere about it, a must visit place if you are in Keswick, it's always lively but still remains friendly & laid back. Great beers & superb food ....full marks.
