The Tollington Arms, N7

I found the staff in here to be very friendly and the other punters seemed harmless enough; I just thought that the décor was a little too clinical and with the woman walking around serving the Thai food the pub ambience that we all love was lost a little. The pub has Sky Sports and there are four plasma screens dotted about so that you can see one from every part of the pub. There is a lot of seating around the outsides of the pub, but the main road running past is very busy and loud. Greene King IPA and Abbot were available during my visit alongside standard and premium draught products. I had a very nice pint of Guinness whilst I looked through the Thai menu which I thought was a tad expensive, although I've not eaten Thai in a pub for about three years so I could be out of touch with modern pricing. Even taking into account the nature of this pub I still liked it and would go back again.
